In the hope of garnering some media interest in our show we have come up with a

1. NATIONAL ANGLE - POSITIVE CAPITALISM
If all the major corporations and companies, all over the world, declared today, that from now on, they would donate all their net profits to fed the hungry, house the homeless, and provide first class health care for all, we would automatically transform our world overnight.
We will be giving away all the net profit, we recieve in donations, from our show to a member of that days audience
We are doing this to promote "positive capitalism" because in these days of financial meltdown "capitalism" seems to be recieving some very bad press
If there is no net profit from that days show, then we will be giving away half the gross takings instead
EDIT: WE WILL BE GIVING ALL THE DONATIONS AWAY TO A RANDOMLY PICKED STRANGER EVERY DAY
2. HUMAN INTEREST - RECOVERING ALCOHOLIC, POLITICIAN AND BUDDHIST
As a recovering alcoholic of 17 years, i came across "fooling" in rehab and have used its practice to free myself from the shyness and inhibition that led me to drink.
In the early days of my recovery, i used to end up travelling way beyond my stop on the bus, because i was too shy to press the bell to get off, so i would wait for someone else to push it
I dreamed of being a perfomer, but the excruciating sense of shyness and shame i felt about myself meant that i was completely incapable of doing so.
Then i came across fooling, which involves giving permission to play out the inner dialogues of our daily lifes, as they are happening, in the form of melodramas and characters on a stage
I have been practicing "fooling" for the last 15 years, and it has helped me develop the self confidence to be myself, and hopefully create some spontaneous, humourous or touching theatre too.
As a fool, I failed in my attempt to walk pennyless to india in 2008. I joined Soirse (founder of Freeconomy) in Dover and gave up in Calais.
I also failed in my first "positive capitalism" venture in 2009, when I attempted to give away my wages, by sending them to random strangers through the post. I always kept enough to pay my rent and bills, but stopped after 6 weeks when my then girlfriends birthday coincided with the champions league final
My most recent failure was in may 2010 in this years general election. I changed my name to "zero none of the above" and stood in my local constituency, offering to resign immediately if elected, and therefore putting a real "none of the above box" on the ballot paper.
My "none of the above" box got 172 votes.
The winner got 18000 (!)

3. SIMPLE SHOW DESCRIPTION
An experiment in improvisation, spontaneity and playing personal dramas
We would like to invite you to our show. It's only 45 minutes long and We have absolutely no idea what it will be like, as We have no idea what masks or characters or stories will turn up on the day. We have no idea if it will be funny or tragic or both. We also have no idea how much adult content will be in the show and so We have no idea whether this show will be suitable for children. We have no idea of how to sell it to you, and therefore We have no idea of whether you will come or who the audience will be. However, We do know that We will be there, and We do hope that you will be there too.
if people like phil kay, then, hopefully, they may well like us too, although we are playing theatre, not comedy.
